This innovative course will be of interest to all specialists working in the field of thyroid and parathyroid diseases: general and endocrine surgeons, otolaryngologists, endocrinologists, medical imagers, pathologists, family physicians and trainees.
The objective of the course will be to discuss in detail controversial and difficult aspects of management of thyroid/parathyroid disease. The program will consist of plenary sessions, panel discussions and lunch with the professors. The plenary sessions will start with a keynote lecture by an expert. A moderated point counterpoint, question and answer, interactive panel discussion with audience participation will then ensue. Formal panel discussions will be cased based and interactive with the audience. Lunch with the professor sessions will be moderated and will be case based as well as question and answer based with audience participation.
