  Nelson has gained experiences, both personal and professional through 25 years in the
  hospitality business with stops in Canada, the United States, and his native country, Lisbon,
  Portugal.
 
 In addition to his previous positions as an Executive Chef, Nelson has also worked part-time as a 
 Professor at Algonquin College and is on the board for the Ontario Apprenticeship and Les 
 Toques Blanche International.  Nelson currently oversees 280 associates in Canada's largest
 convention hotel with over 130K square feet of meeting space and 40 million in revenue.
 
 Nelson is passionate about his profession and is always searching for way to innovate & improve.
