The merge tag feature within Event Wizard® is very popular, especially in confirmation emails. It’s not too often the tags are extended beyond the emails though. Until now.
You may have noticed we quietly pushed an update to your merge tag dropdown that now allows you to display the remaining form capacity on any of your event web pages. By displaying the remaining spots for registration you are sure to quickly increase your form conversions rates as registrants see the spots dwindle away.
Adding this merge tag is generally the same as adding any other. The only difference is making sure to enter your form capacity into ‘Registration Limit’ or there will be nowhere for the merge tag to pull the remaining capacity from.
Once you have entered your form capacity go to any page you have created on your registration site. Enter the text you would like to appear on the page and click the ‘Insert System Merge Tag’ dropdown list. Near the bottom you will see the Remaining Capacity tag. Choose this and it will embed the merge tag into the editor. Once you are finished click save and the tag will update automatically each time someone registers.
