Bill Carroll, Senior Account Manager – Euromonitor International
Bill Carroll is a Senior Account Manager at Euromonitor International, where he helps government and trade organizations apply market research to identify, prioritize and develop export opportunities around the globe, including building reliable and compelling business cases to support and guide market entry and expansion.  Bill holds a BA in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois and an MA in International Studies from the University of Sheffield.

Julie Dickson Olmstead, Director, Public Affairs and Corporate Services
With more than 25 years of business management, strategy development and integrated marketing communications experience to her credit, Julie Dickson Olmstead is a business seasoned executive with a strong track record of success across a number of sectors and disciplines. Today, as the Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Services for Save-On-Foods and the Overwaitea Food Group, Julie holds responsibility for public affairs, corporate responsibility, government and industry relations and strategic planning for sustainability and environmental leadership projects at Canada's largest privately-held Western-based retail grocery chain. In addition to her past work in the agency, not-for-profit and public sectors, Julie has extensive experience participating in board committees, governance and multi-faceted projects involving varying combinations of stakeholder groups. Currently, in addition to participating in a wide range of strategic food industry initiatives and cross-sectoral projects, Julie is the co-chair of the Multi-Material Stewardship Western Advisory Committee; a member of the board of directors of Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba and a member of the board of directors of Canada’s National Zero Waste Council.
An accomplished presenter and accredited adult educator, Julie is a long-standing member of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS). She has developed content for and hosted lectures, workshops, seminars and university courses on effective media relations, community engagement, internal communications strategy, issues and crisis management, reputation management, business management and social media. She has acted as OFG’s official company spokesperson and has been a member of OFG’s Emergency Response and Business Continuity Team for over a decade.

Rick Jensen, Business Development Manager – Reile’s Transfer
Rick Jensen joined Reile’s Transfer as the Business Development Manager in August of 2016. Rick has over 30 years of experience as a logistics professional; helping businesses optimize their distribution and warehousing needs.
Rick has previously held both Terminal Manager and Sales positions within various transportation companies from 1987 through 2016.  He worked for Penner International out of Steinbach, Manitoba, as their Terminal Manager/International Sales Representative for 17 years, from 1987 to 2004.  He then accepted a Sales position with ABF Freight Systems where he later promoted to Branch Manager, from 2004 to 2014.  In 2014, Rick joined Estes Express Lines as the Senior Account Manager until joining Reile’s Transfer in 2016.
Rick began his professional career at Steiger Tractor, Inc./Case New Holland in 1975.  He held various positions at Steiger Tractor before leaving to join Penner International in 1987.  These positions included Shipping and Receiving, Service Parts Transportation Coordinator, and Sales Distribution Manager for the Eastern half of the United States.
Rick’s hobbies include fishing, hunting and spending time with his six grandchildren.

Rory McAlpine, Senior Vice President, Government and Industry Relations – Maple Leaf Foods
Rory McAlpine is Senior Vice President, Government and Industry Relations with Maple Leaf Foods. In this role, Mr. McAlpine has overall responsibility for working with government and industry partners on matters of public policy, programs, regulatory affairs and trade.
Mr. McAlpine brings to Maple Leaf Foods a wealth of experience gained during more than 30 years of working in government, trade and agribusiness.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. McAlpine served as Deputy Minister of the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries from 2002 to 2005. He also obtained significant experience with the Federal Government as Executive Director and Director General, International Trade Policy Directorate; Director Grains and Oilseeds Division; and Deputy Director Multilateral Trade with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Mr. McAlpine also held the position of Executive Director of the National Farm Products Council and was a Trade Commissioner with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, with postings in Kuwait, Bangkok, Brussels, Edmonton and Ottawa.
Mr. McAlpine serves on several boards and committees, including Food and Beverage Ontario, VIDO-InterVac (University of Saskatchewan), Ontario Association of Food Banks, and the Maple Leaf Centre for Action on Food Security. He is on the advisory committees for the Program on Agri-Food Innovation and Regulation, Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) and the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute.
Mr. McAlpine holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
