The following is a guide to assist you in getting the most out of the Virtual 74th  Annual Conference and Trade Show. 

Are there advantages for early Delegate registration?

Yes, you’ll save $25.00 if you register before Friday, April 16, 2021. Please visit the Delegate Registration link to complete your registration.

I can’t attend the virtual two day Conference and Trade Show, are there options to participate for one day?

The virtual conference and trade show will be availble on demand.  All full conference delegates will be able to return to the platform to view keynotes, conference streams and the fire hall cooking demos.

How will the Virtual Trade Show function?

Registered attendees will be able to view the 3D trade show floor plans, view trade booths and connect directly with trades virtually as if you were walking the trade show floor.  
Trade representatives will be available virtually during the scheduled trade show.  In addition, you can connect through the private chat feature.  

How will I be identified as a Conference Participant?

All registered delegates will receive a confirmation e-mail prior to the virtual conference and trade show. You will be able to log-in and set-up your profile and build a personal schedule.

Trade Show passes will be valid for the date purchased.  

How will the Virtual Social Networking Lounges function?

The AFCA has scheduled Virtual Networking Lounges following the trade show each day.  Delegates and trade show passes will be able to connect with other attendees and trades in the virtual lounges.  The networking sessions are included in a full delegate registration fee, trade show pass fee and the virtual trade booth fee.   

Conference App

The AFCA will activate the Conference App at the 2021 AFCA Virtual Conference and Trade Show.  The App will include the agenda; speakers; trade show floor plans; the ability to communicate between delegates, amongst other features.  The conference app will available to registered delegates and trade members.  Registrants must provide their email address in order to acess the conference app.  


The 2021 conference is vital for continued communication and education of our fire departments.  The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association is asking for your assistance as a sponsor to keep costs affordable for our many volunteer departments.
