Participants attending the symposium are responsible for their own transfers between the airport,
the venue and their hotel.
The following information will help you organize your transportation in Paris:
Airports - General Information
Two international airports serve Paris: Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY):
Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is located 27 kilometres (14 miles) north-east of the capital and has extensive road and rail links to the capital city and beyond. Getting to Paris from Charles de Gaulle is easy with RATP buses and taxis all operating from Paris CDG. The airport has three terminals and is the larger of Paris' two airports and one of Europe's major hubs. This airport is approximately 45-50 minutes from the hotels and the symposium venue.
Orly Airport (ORY) is located 14 kilometres south-east of Paris. It is the closest to the venue and suggested hotels (approximately 20 minutes).The second largest airport in Paris, located 14 kilometres (nine miles) south of Paris. Orly Airport Paris mainly handles domestic and charter flights. Orly Airport's close proximity to the capital city of France allows for fast transfers by rail to central Paris.
A wide range of public transport options (car, public transport, train, taxi) are available to travel to and from the airports.
Plan your airport transfers
From CDG airport, should you want to use public transportation to get to your hotel:
Take the RER B train (regional line) to Denfert Rochereau station. Frequency of train is 10-15 minutes. Journey time takes approximately 35 minutes.
From Denfert Rochereau station, take the metro to Porte d'Orléans station or Porte de Choisy station (depending on your hotel location) and walk a short distance to your hotel or take a taxi.
From Orly airport, should you want to use public transportation to get to your hotel:
Take the ORLY BUS shuttle to Denfert Rochereau station. Frequency of bus is 15-20 minutes. Journey time takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
From Denfert Rochereau station, take the metro to Porte d'Orléans station or Porte de Choisy station (depending on your hotel location) and walk a short distance to your hotel or take a taxi.

The RATP is responsible for most of the public transport in Paris and its surrounding Ile-de-France region.

Airport Hotel Bus Services
From Orly Airport to the Novotel Paris Porte d'Orléans only:
A free shuttle service is provided from the hotel from 5:10am to 23:10pm and serves Orly airport Gate D, Orly West and Gate E, Orly South.

To leave the airport, you will find taxis at the exit of the baggage claim area of your arrival terminal:
terminal 1: exit 24 on the arrivals level
terminal 2A: exit 6

terminal 2E: gate 12 on the arrivals level
terminal 2F: gate 11 on the arrivals level
terminal 3: exit of the arrivals hall
terminal 2G: blue gate
Only taxis located at the gates mentioned above are allowed to take customers. These taxis can be identified by the "light" on the roof of the vehicle.
If you are approached by people posing as taxi, when leaving the baggage claim area, we invite you to decline any proposal of transportation.

Transportation between hotels and venue
WADA has selected four hotels in close proximity to the Maison du Sport français (CNOSF), the symposium venue.
The Maison du sport français is located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The building is in the shape of a ship, in stone and glass with its bow at the corners of boulevard Kellermann and avenue Pierre de Coubertin, the main entrance (facing Blvd Kellermann) is at 1, avenue Pierre de Coubertin.
