Dear members of the server efficiency community,
We are delighted to welcome you to the SPEC Symposium on Server Energy Efficiency. This event brings together industry practitioners, government agencies, policy makers, and researchers to share ideas, discuss current and future challenges, and present their current work-in-progress and state-of-the-art research in server efficiency.
First presented in the U.S. in January 2016, and scheduled to be delivered in Asia later this year, this will be the only opportunity to participate in this event in Europe. A broad range of contributors and presenters from industry and academia have worked diligently to create a detailed overview of the roadmap for energy efficiency as applied to servers. Attached is the complete Program with information about all of the presentations that will be offered during the day.
Our keynote is presented by Jeremy Arnold, a long term member of the SPEC community. We expect that you will find his presentation informative and enjoyable.
The Organizing Committee has been invaluable in the smooth running of this event, in particular we acknowledge the efforts of Dianne Rice, Diana Cercy, Cathy Sandifer, Mike Tricker, Walter Bays and Bob Cramblitt.
If you are interested in attending the Symposium, please complete and submit the attached registration form, and
on behalf of the Organizing Committee, we welcome you to Delft and look forward to a day of fascinating presentations and stimulating discussion at the SPEC Symposium'16 - Energy Efficiency!
Enjoy,
Klaus-Dieter Lange
