Safety at the Pumps

A video will be shown that will help all class participants better understand safe operating procedures at the gas pumps. Along with understanding what legislative commitments the Owner and Fuel Handlers must comply with, as part of an operational fuel site in your First Nation?

Second short video will be the dos and don’ts at the gas pumps in regards to static electricity. A hands on presentation will also be part of session. Class will learn what type of signage is required. What type of flashlights can be used at site along with explaining Product Transfer Area Protection? Class will also learn how to test fuel hoses to ensure they are grounded back to the pump. End of session question and answer period.
