What are you doing that's innovative?
Did you have an idea or a process that's had a positive impact assisting people who have a disability to gain employment?
Tell us about your great idea and our volunteer selection committee of experts may invite you to exhibit at the "Innovation Showcase" during the Rethinking Disability Conference being held October 23-25th, 2019 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North.
Those applications selected will be invited to participate in the “Innovation Showcase" on Thursday, October 24th, 2019. There will be a conference session dedicated for exhibitors to pitch their innovation to a selected panel. Each Innovation will have 10 minutes to impress the panelists.
Conference attendees will also be casting their votes.
The “pitch” and attendee voting will be given equal weighting in determining the “Innovator of the Year” winner.
In addition to the prestige of being known as the 'Innovator of the Year Winner' your employment service will receive:
- The Innovator of the Year Award plaque that can be proudly displayed
- Promotion through ODEN's website, social media and newsletters
- A special logo that you'll be able to incorporate into your letterhead, website, email and promotional materials
To Apply:
Please submit a completed application form describing your innovation including concepts and processes
along with a clear explanation of actual results for people. Acceptable applications should be no longer than 2 pages.
Submissions must be received by 4:00pm EST Monday, June 3, 2019.
Applicants must be an ODEN member as of April 1, 2019 and registered for Rethinking Disability Conference 2019.
