English as a Second Language Council (ESLC) MEMBERSHIP
NOTE:  Conference Delegates (excluding Vendors/Exhibitors) are required to be a member of the ESL Council of the Alberta Teachers' Association.  Please refer to the information below for membership fee categories.
You must choose ONE of the following:

*Note: If you are an active member of the ATA and have not already chosen your no cost Specialist Council Membership, you can register at http://www.teachers.ab.ca/ using the key words:  Specialist Council Memberships on the ATA Website.
** Option E applies to:
Central office staff who did not elect active ATA membership cannot be members of specialist councils. The superintendent and deputy superintendent of school jurisdictions, as well as teachers in charter, federal, or private schools must be or need to purchase ESLC ATA Associate members/memberships in order to qualify for specialist council membership. 
There will be a light reception on Saturday. For each paid conference delegate, ESLC will cover $10 of the $20 total cost per person. If you would like to attend the event, please purchase a ticket for $10. You may also purchase ticket(s) for guest(s) for $20. Vendors or speakers, who wish to attend the reception, may also purchase tickets for $20 each.
Conference Registration includes admission to keynote speakers, breakout sessions, breakfast, lunch, AM & PM coffee breaks. Registration for the 2022 conference is being partially subsidized for members by the ESL Council. Prices shown reflect the total cost after subsidy. Accommodation is not included.
  • Friday, May 6th, 2022:
    • Conference Registration 12:00-2:30PM (hotel lobby)
    • Keynote & Breakout Sessions 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    • ESLC Welcome Reception 8:00PM to 10:30PM
  • Saturday, May 7th, 2022:  
    • Registration and Breakfast 7:00-9:00AM 
    • Keynotes & Breakout Sessions 9:00AM-4:00PM
  • Sunday, May 8th, 2022: Mother's Day Wellness
    • Breakfast 7:30-9:30AM 
    • Wellness Sessions 8:30AM-11:30AM (some sessions are open to family and friends)
    • A Mother's Day Brunch will be offered by the Malcom at an extra cost. More details will follow.
Please ensure you select the appropriate fee categor(ies) below. You may choose up to 2 options.
  • Substitutions are accepted with name of substitution emailed to tjulanicki@cbe.ab.ca no later than April 1st, 2022.
  • On or before January 31st, 2022 you may cancel your conference registration for a 75% refund
  • On or before February 28th, 2022 you may cancel your conference registration for a 50% refund
  • On or after March 1st, 2022 NO REFUNDS will be provided
  • "No shows" will not be eligible for any refund
  • ESLC ATA Memberships are non-refundable
