The Alberta Teachers’ Association requires the information contained on this form in order to conduct the professional and business affairs of its membership and will collect, use, and disclose the personal information about you accordingly. For inquiries, objections, or concerns about how the Personal Information Protection Act applies to your personal information, please refer to our privacy policy on the Alberta Teachers’ Association website. When registering for this conference you are voluntarily providing your personal information to this council. Your information will only be used for ATA Special Education Council communication.
 

CONFERENCE RATES
*Central office staff who did not elect active ATA membership cannot be members of specialist councils. The superintendent, deputy superintendent of school jurisdictions and teachers in charter, federal or private schools must be ATA Associate members in order to qualify for specialist council membership.

SOCIAL EVENTS
Thursday Night Social - Wintergreen Presidents' Reception
Opportunity for delegates to network and socialize. Complimentary appetizers provided by Wintergreen and cash bar will be open.  Come meet your regional president at our Thursday social to have a chance to win your registration reimbursed!  There will be one winner from each regional!
SESSION PRE-REGISTRATION (optional)
Come join us and learn about the art of felting and where it can fit with your classroom and Art curriculum with Leah Donald from Artfelt Studio. Leah will walk us through making our own felting masterpieces as well as speaking passionately about the authentic art that is created in the image of the child.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee.
A limited number of rooms are being held at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel until March 23, 2020.

CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Cancellations will be accepted on or before April 9, 2020 - No refund will be provided after this date
  • Cancellations on or before March 24, 2020 will be charged a $50 cancellation fee
  • Cancellations between March 25, 2020 and April 9th 2020, will be charged 50% of the registration fee
  • "No Shows" will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.  
  • Specialist council memberships and the "Make and Take" session are non-refundable.
Conference payments are processed online only (Visa, MasterCard). Sorry we are not able to accept cheques.
