Deadwood Arrival & Trailer Parking
Part of Deadwood’s charm is its location in narrow gulches. Its historic Wild West flavor has been preserved in its narrow streets that do not accommodate trailers and tow vehicles. Sharp turns into hotel check-in areas and parking lots will only accommodate classic cars or daily drivers.
To make arrivals for guests towing trailers as easy as possible, their first stop needs to be parking and unloading trailers at one of two free parking areas reserved by the Conclave Team. Because of space limitations, unloaded trailers will need to be spaced closely together, prohibiting in-and-out access for classic cars during the week. After unloading and locking trailers, those guests can drive their classics or tow vehicles to Conclave registration and hotel check-ins.
Guests staying at The Lodge at Deadwood can reach a designated trailer-parking lot across US 85 from the hotel by taking the entry to Tatanka, History of the Buffalo, 100 Tatanka Drive (1 mile north of downtown off US 85). Those staying at The Mountain Grand Resort, Comfort Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express & Suites or Hotel by Gold Dust also may park trailers at that lot, or in the city’s Sherman Street Public Parking Lot down the block from The Mountain Grand along US 85 South. Signs will direct guests to Conclave Trailer Parking options. Conclave hosts will be at both locations to assist drivers.
