Train and certify your existing employees to stay competitive in the installation and certification of high-speed structured cabling systems. This Fluke Networks Certified Cabling Test Technician™ (CCTT) one or two-day training and certification program will improve installer skills in certifying and troubleshooting cabling systems to increase their effectiveness and productivity on the job.

Who should attend: The course is designed for contractors and enterprise network owners who currently own or anticipate purchasing DTX series cable certification equipment. Students are encouraged to bring their DTX units and modules to the class.

About the course: CCTT course is offered in two parts depending on your specialization and is offered on separate days for each of – copper or fiber certification. Each day is a powerful one-day course which covers the current standards and provides hands-on training with the DTX Cable Analyzer. You can register for one or both days of CCTT training as follows:

Day One: UTP Copper Cabling Certification – Includes a review of the current TIA standards for “in-channel” certification of Category 5e up through the recently approved Category 6A. Extensive hands-on with factory supplied DTX Cable Analyzers provided for in-channel testing and troubleshooting of UTP copper systems.

Day Two: Tier 1 and Tier 2 Fiber Certification includes an overview of fiber optic basics and current testing standards from both the TIA and IEEE committees. Basic optical loss/length testing plus an intro to OTDRs is taught during this one-day event. Integrated throughout the class are several hands-on exercises with equipment provided by the factory. This includes performing basic loss/length testing (Tier 1) with the DTX-MFMs, and OTDR testing

(Tier 2) utilizing the DTX-OTDR modules.
