ATASC is the Alberta Teachers' Association Science Council whose mission is to strengthen
the quality of Science education in Alberta schools.

Why attend Science Conference?

Improve your practice through:
  • high-interest, quality breakout sessions featuring the best of Science education;
  • hands-on, facilitated workshops for building/improving resources, planning local events, and developing skills;
  • inspiring keynotes;
  • an exhibits area with ideas and resources to spunk up your classroom;
  • the ATASC Playground (New this year); If you plan to come explore our playground, it will be a good idea to bring a laptop.
  • meet and work with like-minded educators from all around Alberta!
Conference registration package pick-up will be at the Banff Park Lodge Hotel Lobby right beside the check-in-desk from 6:00PM-9:00PM Thursday, November 16 and from 7:00AM-11:00AM Friday, November 17th, 2017.

The registration package will include your nametag. You must wear your name tag at all times - it ensures entrance to your chosen sessions, including the Dan Riskin keynote address on Saturday. Note: reprinting your name tag is not an option.
    The Science Council will be offering registration to the first 400 paid-in-full registrants. Once the 400 spaces are full, registration will close.  Don't be disappointed; register as soon as possible. Once registration is full, you can sign-up for the waiting list at sciencepd@shaw.ca. Your position on the wait list will be the time stamp when your email was received.
